So it’s a new week at Debo’s Kitchen. This last week I went to work to find that my three door freezer was down/not working/kaput/inoperative/dead/not good…oh not good. I was calm at first, then it hit me. What does this mean? All soups, all sauces for lasagnas and pot pies, all quiche for coffee shops, and then some will have to be disposed of. We will have to restructure our operations for a while…OK. I can do this…OH WAIT!…not “I”…but “we” can do this.
In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
He doesn’t tell us to give thanks for what just happened, but to just ‘give thanks’…I can do that while I cry. I gave thanks and I am still giving thanks. This has been a humbling experience.
I’ve got this…well “I” don’t, but with the help of my family, with very understanding customers who are like family, and with lot’s of prayers asking for guidance…we’ve got this. THANK YOU!
