I love soup and Deborah’s soups are the very best! The traditional soups that Deborah makes are excellent, but her creativity is amazing. She offers a changing variety of soups, based on what is available for the season. I tried her Osso Buco soup and fell in love. Since this was a Valentine special, it was appropriate.
Deborah uses the best, freshest ingredients and her soups really have wonderful flavor. I appreciate that she makes soup that is gluten-free, since my granddaughter has an allergy to wheat. I served Deborah’s soups for family meals, and made my family very happy. The French Onion soup was a hit at Christmas. We now are eating her Gazpacho for a light summer meal.
I have given Deborah’s soups as gifts. The recipients raved about the soups. Deborah’s chicken salad and other foods are great, but the soup is my favorite.

Lifesaving soup? Almost
After my larynjectomy in August 2010, eating and then swallowing grew increasingly difficult. Finally, any solid food became impossible for me, and a feeding tube seemed to be the only option.
A friend told me about Deborah and her wonderful abilities in the kitchen. With that recommendation, I contacted Debo's Kitchen and asked about pureeing certain dishes. Deborah has worked with me faithfully and has never failed to make my meals enjoyable and delicious as well.
I am pleased to have this opportunity to thank her publicly for her culinary magic and her many considerations and help with my problem.

Black Bean Burgers

Everyone loves these burgers!
Not so with these! I grilled them over charcoal using the directions on the side of the package and they turned out great! These are great burgers to serve because they are larger than the standard veggie burgers, 1/3 lb I think, and they fill out the bun nicely!
Most importantly, the black bean recipe is tasty--not overly spicey but enough to keep you looking forward to the next bite! They will be our choice for all functions in the future.
