Chef Debo’s cooking is marinated in generations of tradition. Her family has served healthy, delicious food to Tennesseans for over 100 years. Her great-grandparents ran a mill and general store in Calhoun; her aunts and uncles operated successful Chattanooga cafés in the 1950s and 60s. Debo cooked alongside her Aunt Wanda at her bed and breakfast in Signal Mountain.
Chattanooga residents will recognize Debo and her husband, David Anziano, as owners of the famed Anziano’s Deli, which they operated from 2001 to 2008. Following the deli days, Chef Debo ran Debo’s Kitchen from the family farm in Riceville, Tennessee. With Debo’s Kitchen, she perfected a seasonal selection of wholesome and heartsome dishes that she delivered to Chattanooga and surrounding areas.
This focus on good food and genuine hospitality has been embraced by Chef Debo, and she is proud to continue the tradition by sharing The Victoria House and homestyle, farm fresh food with you – y’all come!
